Here we have a bumper issue, mostly describing the wonderful trips we’ve done in the last year. If you’ve paddled anywhere as fun as these, then why not write your trip up, send it in, and I’ll put it into the next issue of the magazine.

The deadline for the next issue will be around 1st January 2004.

Membership renewals

A reminder that membership renewals are due on 1st November. Everyone is due to renew (unless you are one of the few people who’ve joined in the last month or so). We have attached a membership form with this magazine - please can you fill it in now and return it to the membership secretary - his address is on the form.

New Committee

The Bristol Canoe Club AGM was held in early October, so we now have a new committee. It now consists of:

Bristol Canoe Club Treasure Hunt

July 2003

Avis organised an entertaining treasure hunt this year, where we had to spot the names of many of the pleasure boats in the harbour, and note where we had seen them. I am sure that the results were skewed by some of the boats having moved around... Unfortunately, the weather didn't look promising on the day, leading to few entries, but in fact it stayed dry and a good time was had by all.
